Responsibilities
Track and plan costs for programs during their development stage to launch and post SOP by consolidating product costs based on input from other functional areas
Conduct NPV-R studies for potential resourcing or insourcing studies
Final review and approval of all major outputs from CPG functions which include documents for gate reviews, production location studies, overhead rate calculations, and special case studies
Prepare Profitability and Program Review presentations and reviews risk analysis on project estimates
Interact with Global CPG functions as needed for projects and clarification of structure and strategies in North America
Often assigned special projects/studies including gross profit margin analyses, etc. including analyzing any costs that seem contrary to past experiences and trend data
Independently leads significant projects to redesign or develop company-wide systems and process with significant financial impact within scope of the CPG functions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and generally 5-8 plus years of experience in a related field -or- An advanced degree and generally 3-5 plus years of experience
Candidate is a fully experienced professional/expert in areas of responsibility
Good skill in Microsoft office especially analytical skill with using Excel
Have strong communication, presentation, administrative, organizational skills, and possess the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs
Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test
Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters
Advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Microsoft office especially Excel, ERP systems, and other presentation applications and/or software
