They are seeking a Senior Low Voltage / Technology Designer to lead the design of telecommunications and low-voltage systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and overseeing project deliverables.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of low-voltage and telecommunications systems including structured cabling (horizontal/vertical), voice/data networks, AV, security, access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and related technology systems

Interpret client goals, define project scope, and translate design criteria into coordinated engineering solutions

Produce drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documentation

Collaborate with MEP teams and architectural partners to ensure integrated system design

Perform system analysis and develop concepts, layouts, schematics, and details for both new construction and renovation projects

Oversee project progress, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met

Prepare and review technical specifications and contract documentation

Apply knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, and other codes and standards relevant to telecommunications and low-voltage design

Provide construction phase support, including responding to RFIs and resolving field challenges

Assist with developing project schedules, budgets, and internal reporting

Required

4-10 years of telecommunications, electrical/communications, or low-voltage design experience within commercial, institutional, or mixed-use buildings

Background in consulting engineering or integrated design environments

Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; capable of executing design work independently

Experience working on renovation, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects

Strong technical problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role

Ability to manage multiple tasks, support multidisciplinary coordination, and deliver on time and within budget

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
