Responsibilities

You’ll be tasked with building out sophisticated pricing models (usage-based, tiered, and multi-dimensional) using the new 'on-core' Revenue Cloud architecture
You will audit our legacy price rules and quote calculators
Your goal is to simplify the complex—moving away from 'hacks' and toward a clean, performant configuration that doesn't slow down the Sales team
You will be the primary technical link between Sales, Legal, and Finance
You’ll need to translate a 'creative' sales deal into a structured data model that our accounting team can actually report on

Required

CPQ Mastery: You've spent years in the weeds of Salesforce CPQ or the new Revenue Cloud. You know exactly how the Quote Line Editor behaves, and you understand the nuances of the Price Waterfall
Accounting Literacy: You don't need to be a CPA, but you understand the basics of GAAP, revenue recognition, and how a quote impacts the general ledger
Systems Thinking: You see the 'ripples.' When a stakeholder asks for a new discount tier, you immediately calculate how that affects the renewal cycle and the billing schedules
Consultative Directness: You have the backbone to say 'no' to a customization that will cause technical debt, and the skill to propose a standard-feature alternative that achieves the same business goal
Complex Pricing Logic: You'll be tasked with building out sophisticated pricing models (usage-based, tiered, and multi-dimensional) using the new 'on-core' Revenue Cloud architecture

Architectural Authority: You aren't just an 'order taker.' You have a seat at the table when new products and pricing strategies are being designed
High-Performance Stack: We use the latest version of Revenue Cloud Advanced, integrated with modern ERP and payment gateways. You'll have the tools and the dev support to build things correctly
Boston-Centric Collaboration: We value the 'whiteboard culture' of the Seaport. We get together to solve the hard architectural puzzles in person, then give you the space to execute remotely
