Responsibilities
Design and implement a global trade surveillance program to meet regulatory requirements
Build strong partnerships with business units, global surveillance, corporate investment banking, global markets, and compliance teams to understand needs and translate them into technology solutions
Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with organizational business goals
Collaborate closely with product vendors (Behavox, Smarsh, Theta Lake) to leverage expertise and deliver innovative solutions
Provide technology leadership and guidance to the delivery team
Lead and mentor a team of developers, architects, engineers, and QA professionals
Ensure compliance with technical standards, best practices, and security policies
Work cross-functionally with other technology teams to ensure seamless system integration
Research and recommend adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends
Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and increase efficiency
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, proactively managing risks and issues
Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory updates, and compliance technology trends
Lead data strategy initiatives focused on data quality, governance, and compliance
Promote agile methodologies and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration
Report regularly to senior management and stakeholders on technology initiatives, progress, and challenges
