Electrical Engineer
SAIC is seeking an organized and motivated Electrical Engineer to support a fast-paced work environment with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division in Middleton, RI. The role involves collaborating with a team to bring electrical designs from concept to fabrication, including automated test equipment design and circuit documentation.

Responsibilities
You will develop and execute test plans for new designs and document your results
You will design and document systems and circuits in Altium
Candidates must demonstrate a history of excelling at multiple concurrent challenges and an eagerness and aptitude for learning new things
Work in an interdisciplinary collaborative environment with other groups of engineers, logisticians, technicians, and draftsman to ensure the design meets requirements
You will review specifications, requirements, schematics, bill of materials, mechanical drawings, and test plans created by senior engineering for accuracy
Create/Review well documented notes of design changes to maintain version control of drawings
You will be troubleshooting both large scale systems and individual system components or a larger scale system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience
Experience in engineering design, analysis, and testing
Electronic design in the area of test equipment, power electronics, amplifiers, filtering, signal conditioning, and/or high-speed digital. Schematic entry in a schematic capture software
Experience contributing to engineering documentation for a technical data package
Ability to read and understand basic electrical and mechanical drawings
Hands on troubleshooting using test equipment to help isolate problems and ability to generate solutions
Must be able to initially obtain an Interim Secret Clearance and then obtain and hold an Active Secret Clearance for the duration of work on the contract
