Program Coordinator, Bureau of Harlem Neighborhood Health
The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a Program Coordinator to support community health initiatives in Harlem. The role involves coordinating multiple projects, building relationships with community organizations, and ensuring effective communication across various levels of staff.

Qualification
Required
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above
High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in '1' above
Preferred
Highly collaborative team player able to build effective relationships across organizations
Ability to work both as a team member and independently flexible, managerial skills comfortable juggling multiple projects and tasks
Creative problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and able to coordinate multiple projects/tasks in and outside community settings
Experience working with community-based organizations
Ability to work closely with all levels of staff inside and outside the Agency
Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
