Program Coordinator

The University of South Carolina School of Medicine is dedicated to transforming the lives of South Carolinians through its various programs. The Program Coordinator will support program projects focused on healthcare delivery, coordinate with program managers, and ensure the execution of project plans while adhering to compliance policies.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Coordinates Center programs focused on healthcare delivery, to include mobile healthcare units, telehealth, and other delivery programs
Supports the planning and coordination of non-healthcare delivery projects
Coordinates development of topic-specific surveys and other data collection tools to gather information for projects within the Center, including electronic surveys in SurveyMonkey, REDCap, in-person surveys, focus groups, and key informant interviews
Assists the administrative support team in reporting from funded programs on Submittable (fund grants platform) by preparing reports as required for Center programs as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience
Ability to communicate effectively with strong oral and written communication skills
Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations

Preferred

Prefer previous experience in coordinating programs, project management experience, from conception to delivery, and experience in public health, program evaluation, or health care systems preferred, but not required
Prefer strong experience in Microsoft package (to include Excel, Word, etc)
Experience with computer-based documentation and communication
