Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Eaton is a global leader in power management technologies, and they are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support planning and execution of technical projects related to manufacturing methods and processes. The role involves managing capital projects, troubleshooting technical problems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities
Lead and support execution of capital projects
Plan and develop projects supporting plant or division objectives
Facilitate new product launches into production
Design and create tooling, jigs, and fixtures for safer assembly processes
Improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs through innovation and design
Integrate equipment and systems using Industry 4.0
Identify and execute cost-out projects through productivity improvements
Promote continuous improvement using lean manufacturing techniques
Develop and maintain robust, cost-efficient manufacturing processes
Collaborate with all levels, departments, and facilities within the organization
Provide technical expertise to support daily operations and achieve production goals
Investigate and resolve safety-related projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 2 years of engineering or project / program management experience which can include co-op/internships

Preferred
3 years of engineering experience or equivalent engineering experience from co-op/internships
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
2 years of managing large (capital) projects
Experience working in a high mix / engineered to order manufacturing environment
Experience using CAD software (i.e., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.)
Sheetmetal fabrication expertise (laser, punching, spot welding, and powder coating equipment)
High mechanical aptitude
Industry 4.0 experience
Experience working with new product introduction
Understanding and use of lean tool methodology
Automation and controls system (HMI, PLC, ladder logic, etc.) experience
