Responsibilities
Developing and implementation of the logistics plans which include the shipping coordination plans and procedures designed for specific projects
Monitoring of goods during the different transportation stages
Development and providing a RFI / RFQ for Freight Forwarding, Export Packing activities
Conducting Logistics status review meetings
Participate in the selection of approved logistics providers
Manages personnel engaged in the coordination and execution of logistics services when designated as project lead
Interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure customer expectations are being achieved
Prepare, execute and be responsible for the project logistics budget
Maintain relationships and communication with transportation providers
Manages supporting personnel in the proper understanding and usage of disipline specific systems, policies and procedures
Promotes Zero Harm culture with vendors, clients, and colleagues
Qualification
Required
Candidate will have managed the logistics activities of at least one large scale ($1Billion+ TIC) EPC project, from start to finish
Performed FEED (or similar) activities for large scale EPC projects
At least 10 years of experience in logistics activities for EPC projects, including the management of containers and breakbulk ocean freight, domestic transportation, heavy haul, customs clearance and the commercial management of a logistics budget
Experience managing of transportation of large process modules
International and domestic travel may be required for this position
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Managerial experience in LNG project logistics
An undergraduate degree in Maritime Administration, logistics, supply chain, business or related field
