Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and execute comprehensive project plans, balancing priorities, risk, resources, budgets, and timelines
Oversee project documentation in accordance with design control requirements, including design history files, schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and phase-gate deliverables
Manage scope changes, resource needs, and budget adjustments, proactively mitigating project risks and constraints
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, resolve issues, and negotiate trade-offs to keep projects on track
Present project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership in a clear, actionable manner
Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement within project teams
Leverage influence management to drive alignment across departments and stakeholders
Demonstrate decisive leadership by making sound judgments and balancing competing priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required
7+ years of product development experience spanning multiple technical disciplines (software, firmware, electronics, mechanical design, industrial design)
Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget in a regulated industry
In-depth knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR)
Skilled in project planning methodologies (e.g., critical path, critical chain) and risk management
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
High level of initiative, adaptability, and accountability, with a demonstrated commitment to meeting quality, schedule, and cost objectives
Preferred
Master's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Familiarity with design and production of medical electronics preferred
