The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure, ensuring stability, reliability, and security of network systems.

Responsibilities
Design, support, and maintain enterprise data and voice network infrastructure
Perform advanced network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
Manage and support LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and network security environments
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical networks
Implement and maintain network security best practices and compliance standards
Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues
Support data center networking and enterprise connectivity solutions
Collaborate closely with onsite teams and stakeholders for in-person technical support
Provide after-hours and on-call support as required
Travel between Freeport and Brunswick, ME locations for network support
Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
Work with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and upgrades
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex network challenges
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement of network stability and security posture
Qualification
Required
Expertise in Network Administration and Network Engineering tasks
Strong skills in Network Troubleshooting to resolve complex connectivity or performance issues
Proficiency in Network Security, including implementing and maintaining firewalls and security protocols
Experience in Network Design, including creating scalable and efficient network architectures
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and best practices
Strong problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are advantageous
