Responsibilities

Execute test lifecycle deliverables in alignment with QA standards, methodologies, and procedures

Perform manual and automated testing of custom-built applications, including GIS components

Create, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios

Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues, risks, and anomalies from an end-user perspective

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to support sprint-based testing activities

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), PMO, and vendor teams to understand business and system requirements

Participate in defect triage meetings, sprint demos, and release validations

Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios, preparing UAT instructions, and facilitating UAT execution

Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure test coverage

Ensure testing activities are completed on schedule and proactively communicate risks, issues, and bottlenecks to leadership

Prepare sample test data and validate application readiness for UAT and production deployment

Provide weekly status reports to the QA Testing Lead

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

3–5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Experience working on mid-scale to large-scale system development projects

Strong experience in: Test strategy development, Test planning and execution, Test case and test script creation, Defect tracking and test result documentation

Ability to review and analyze: Business Requirements, System Requirements, Functional and Design Specifications

Experience with Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and UAT readiness validation

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams

High attention to detail and commitment to quality
