Sales Engineer

Responsibilities
Identify and qualify leads through research, referrals, and digital prospecting
Cold call and engage new accounts, focusing on fire sprinkler contractors
Build partnerships with engineering firms and large-portfolio end users
Expand and strengthen existing accounts within the fire protection sector
Educate and train contractor service teams on corrosion management solutions
Ensure new construction sales teams understand product and service differentiators
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
Manage opportunities in Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking
Deliver against established KPIs for lead conversion, revenue, and account expansion
Represent the business at relevant trade associations and industry events
Stay informed on customer needs, market shifts, and competitor activity
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in account management or business development
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication and presentation skills, including group presentations
Highly organized, accountable, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability
Moderate technical aptitude with willingness to learn
