This Summer, they are seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to support continuous improvement initiatives in their fulfillment and server assembly/testing operations, providing hands-on experience in process optimization and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing and improving fulfillment workflows, including material flow, packaging, and shipping processes

Support assembly and testing operations for servers, focusing on cycle time reduction and quality improvement

Collect and analyze production data (HPU, throughput, takt time) to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions

Participate in layout design and optimization for assembly and test stations

Develop standard work instructions and contribute to process documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Logistics) to implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Support time studies, ergonomic assessments, and capacity planning

Assist in KPI tracking and reporting for operational performance
