Responsibilities

Lead and deliver quality client service on multiple M&A projects

Provide flexible and innovative HR solutions while balancing multiple priorities

Contribute to generating profitable revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients

Demonstrate relevant technical skills in understanding M&A transactions with emphasis on HR operations design and delivery, data analytics, and workforce impacts

Manage and execute project management across HR workstreams and help define future state employee governance and structures

Enable employee communications and experience through the transactions

Required

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of business, human resources or psychology

At least 7 years of relevant experience

Relevant experience through one of the following: Professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, or related line role in industry, in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)

Expertise in automation opportunity assessment and prioritization

Strategic thinking with a digital strategy focus

Awareness of HR compliance and regulation

Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office

Experience with HR aspects of mergers/acquisitions

Have Due Diligence and M&A experience through the full life cycle of an acquisition, divestiture or spin

Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns

Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

Ability to lead and motivate teams ensuring quality and timely deliverables

Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients

Incorporate and be open to learning new applications of evolving technology into daily workflow including tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, agentic AI, and LLM modules to support data analysis, deliverable development and challenge traditional approaches

Preferred

Experience in process optimization and HR technology implementation

Experience leading and delivering HR Transformation engagements, including strategy, process evaluation, process improvement and risk mediation, design of HR system delivery options and/or HR IT strategy

Experience in one or more areas of: reward, benefits, compensation, or talent
