Supply Chain Manager, Last Mile Automation
Amazon is seeking an industry proven and detail oriented Supply Chain Manager to support supply chain innovation and optimization of automation technologies across our Last Mile delivery operation. The role is crucial in optimizing processes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of packages to customers while maintaining strong supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement in automation initiatives.

Responsibilities
Managing overall supplier relationships including supplier performance, capability, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, cost and quality improvements
Collaborating with technical operations, engineering, and program teams on new product introduction programs to define standard and custom product requirements ensuring sourcing strategies meet the technical capabilities, cost, and business objectives
Drive suppliers’ continuous improvement and value engineering in support of program’s performance metrics: quality, delivery, capacity, cost and safety
Monitor suppliers’ supply chain, manufacturing, human capital with respect to overall program objectives
Development and execution of global commodity strategies that align business requirements with supplier capabilities
Develop alternate sourcing strategies to optimize costs and ensure continuity of supply
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of supply chain experience
Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high volume, global sourcing and operations manufacturing environment with a global supply base of contract manufacturers
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience reviewing and understanding engineering design documents for electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assembly drawings of products
Experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business
Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships
Technical, analytical, and management skills to lead RFQs, supplier selection, supplier capacity planning, and supplier risk identification/mitigation in NPI programs
Preferred
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
