Regional Human Resources Manager

LHH is seeking an experienced Regional Human Resources Manager to support a geographically dispersed workforce across multiple states. This role will serve as a strategic HR partner, focusing on union environments, employee relations, compliance, and operational HR execution.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned regions, supporting both union and non-union employees
Manage labor relations activities, including interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), grievance resolution, and support during negotiations
Lead employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions
Support workforce planning, recruitment strategy, onboarding, and offboarding for regional locations
Partner with operations and leadership to drive engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
Coach and advise managers on HR policies, best practices, and effective people leadership
Support change management initiatives, organizational restructuring, and growth-related activities
Conduct regular site visits to maintain visibility, build relationships, and proactively address HR issues
Collaborate with centralized HR teams on payroll, benefits administration, HRIS accuracy, and reporting
Assist with audits, safety initiatives, and risk mitigation efforts as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant union/labor relations experience
Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site or regional operations
Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance across multiple states
Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues in unionized environments
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% nationwide
Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while partnering closely with cross-functional teams
