The MLA Technology team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and manage software related to machine learning hardware throughout the hardware life cycle, collaborating with silicon and hardware design teams to enhance AWS's cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Members of the team are responsible for software related to machine learning hardware at all points in the hardware life cycle
Working with silicon design and hardware design teams across EC2
Developing software which can be maintained, improved upon, documented, tested, and reused

Required

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience writing low level drivers, or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
