Responsibilities
Perform a variety of duties associated with the fabrication, modification, repair or installation of lightweight belts and components to customer specifications. Work will be performed in-house or at customer site
Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures (CBT’s as well as Customer specific procedures)
Assist in maintaining and monitoring the accuracy of belting inventory
Accurately perform assigned tasks in a timely fashion
Interact with customers in a professional manner
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
Represent CBT in a professional manner at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have a stable work history, no more than two jobs within the past three years
3 years of Belting Installation / Fabrication experience
Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues on conveyor systems and related equipment
Take lead on jobs, mentor crew, and work in a manner that ensures the safety of all crew members
Basic hand tool familiarity required, including knowledge, use, and understanding of a tape measure and units of measurement
Thorough understanding of OSHA workplace safety and PPE requirements
Must be detail oriented and able to write clear and concise reports for customers
Must be dependable and able to work flexible shift schedule (on call when necessary)
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Overtime hours and weekend work is required
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred
Prior experience operating forklifts and Aerial lifts
Millwright Mechanical Experience is a plus
