Responsibilities

Monitors progress and assures all assigned projects are being completed as intended, on time and within budget
Develops and presents recommended project solutions along with realistic cost estimates to internal clients. Makes appropriate changes to the scope as the scope changes during the course of the project
Develops, reviews, and understands engineering drawings that include equipment recommendations. Specifies construction methods to achieve the desired objectives
Develops, reviews & understands specifications for new equipment with equipment vendors and site customers
Develops, reviews & drives Installation Qualification (IQ)/Operational Qualification (OQ)/Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols and change control documentation
Continually leads all aspects of the contractors’ safety performance and promptly resolves any safety violations that occur
Installs and commissions equipment and/or facilities per the customer and company requirements with minimal interruption to operational schedules, ensuring good engineering practices are adhered to for the construction, installation and commissioning of new processes and facilities
Collaborates with internal and external customers, as well as original equipment manufacturers to provide technical expertise and recommendations on processing equipment

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or mechanical engineering)
1+ years previous related experience in engineering, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and process equipment preferred
Strong leadership, planning, and time management
The desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed
Advocate for change and process improvements
Understanding of pharmaceutical equipment
Able to work with OEMs to problem-solve and order parts
Capable of working multi-functionally and prioritizing to fit the business need
Broad-based background in pharmaceutical manufacturing with a combination of experience and skills in one or more of the following areas: product/process development, production support, engineering, validation or quality assurance
Self-starter with efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to balance multiple projects
The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced environment and within a result orientated team
Able to express ideas and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Innovative problem solver - should be able to envisage new and better ways of doing things
Excellent data analytical skills, ability to plan, coordinate and implement concurrent tasks
Experience in an FDA supervised or regulated industry
High level of PC Skills required
Excellent attention to detail
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Laboratory Setting
Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
Office
Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Various outside weather conditions
