Responsibilities

Perform Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and/or Eddy Current inspection methods on various engine components to determine conformance to Overhaul and Repair Manuals and Quality Standards
Servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment
Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications
Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications
Comply with all company work rules, follow safe work practices and procedures established to protect the environment, and report to supervisor all unsafe acts, hazardous conditions, and conditions which impact or have the potential to impact the environment
Perform all other related duties as required or assigned

Qualification

NDT Level 3A&P licenseFluorescent Penetrant InspectionMagnetic Particle InspectionEddy Current InspectionAerospace manufacturing knowledgeTechnical analysisRoot cause analysisEffective communication

Required

HS Diploma and typically AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years prior NDT and/or A&P experience
Currently hold or able to obtain (within 1 year) an NDT Level 3 in one or more NDT methods
Active A&P license

Preferred

Experience with training, personnel testing and auditing NDT systems
Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations
Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal and external customers
Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools
