Oracle and SQL Administration
Backup and Recovery of Relational Databases
Disaster Recovery Administration
Scripting and Departmental/end user Documentation
Linux Administration and configuration
Cloud/AWS Experience
Virtualization Knowledge
Collaborate with vendors and manage vendor relationships
Provide high level trouble shooting, diagnosis and repair support to Infrastructure and Security Team staff
Provide deep support to help desk operations

Qualification

Required

Five years plus of direct experience configuring, supporting, and maintaining Oracle/SQL databases in Linux/Windows environments
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments
Perform database upgrades, patches, backups, and recovery operations
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency
Manage database security, user access, and roles
Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or other tools
Administer Linux servers hosting database environments
Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues
Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies
Cloud exposure to AWS services and databases
5 years' IT database experience
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Bachelors degree preferred in computer science or business administration with a computer science concentration, preferably with a minimum five years related experience, will accept Associate degree with equivalent experience
Database related certifications a plus
AWS certifications a plus
