QBE Insurance is offering a Summer 2026 internship opportunity in its North America Claims organization based in New York. This position will support the Financial and/or Casualty Claims teams, providing hands-on learning and exposure to the daily operations of an international insurance company.

Responsibilities

Learn claims process from intake to resolution under the guidance of a Claims Specialist

Review of applicable insurance policies to become familiar with these contracts and the coverage they provide

Collaborate with internal business partners, including actuaries, underwriters, legal and litigation management

Accompany Claims Specialists in relevant internal and external meetings

Attend and participate in educational training sessions

Demonstrated leadership experience through extracurricular activities, community service or previous work experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work June 1, 2026- August 7, 2026
