Mid LevelVoto Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer with strong expertise in PCI/PCIe architecture and hardware debugging to support onsite engineering activities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with system-level hardware design, validation, and troubleshooting, collaborating with various teams to resolve complex hardware issues.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and validate hardware systems with a strong focus on PCI/PCIe-based architectures
Perform board-level and system-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers
Analyze hardware failures, root cause issues, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with firmware, software, and validation teams to resolve complex hardware issues
Support bring-up, integration, and testing of new hardware platforms
Document design, test procedures, and debug findings clearly and professionally
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer with hands-on PCI/PCIe experience
Strong expertise in hardware debugging and failure analysis
Experience with schematics, board bring-up, and validation
Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers
Ability to work onsite in Redmond, WA or Portland, OR (WA preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience working in high-performance computing, embedded systems, or enterprise hardware platforms
Exposure to firmware/BIOS or low-level driver interactions related to PCI devices
