Account Executive
Trident Search is partnering with a fast-growing Series A cybersecurity company specializing in External Attack Surface Management. They are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive net-new business across the East Coast, managing the full sales cycle and collaborating with various teams to build strong pipelines and forecast revenue.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting → discovery → product demos (alongside SEs) → negotiation → close
Manage and close net-new logos within mid-market and enterprise accounts
Develop territory plans, build strong pipelines, and accurately forecast revenue
Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams
Evangelize a technical, high-growth security platform to security leaders (CISO, VP Security, SecOps, IT)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, ideally within cybersecurity, or threat exposure solutions
Track record of exceeding quota in a high-velocity or enterprise sales environment
Experience selling to security stakeholders (CISO, Director of Security, SecOps, IT Infrastructure)
Strong prospecting skills - able to independently generate pipeline
Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear commercial context
Comfortable in a startup / early-stage environment (Series A–C)
Preferred
Experience with EASM, ASM, CART, or vulnerability management platforms
Previous success building a territory from scratch
Knowledge of modern security challenges (attack surface, zero-days, continuous testing, threat exposure)
