Durham Bulls Baseball Club is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join their Ticketing team as an Inside Sales Intern for the 2026 season. This role provides hands-on experience in sports sales and customer service, focusing on outbound and inbound ticket sales, account management, lead generation, and order processing.

Responsibilities

Generate ticket sales through inbound and outbound calls for Birthday Packages, Field of Dreams Packages, Group Sales, Mini Plans, and Game Day Hospitality Packages

Process, service, and manage ticket orders using the ticketing system

Prospect new leads while consistently working toward established sales goals and quotas

Provide support to the Box Office and Ticketing Department, including customer service assistance as needed

Assist with all events held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park

Support general Front Office operations, including hiring events, special events, tarp pulls, and other duties typical of a Minor League Baseball front office

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and all home events

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; adaptable to feedback, changing priorities, and tight deadlines

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling

Close vision and ability to differentiate colors

Ability to use hands for typing and other essential job functions

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to remain focused and productive in noisy, crowded environments with multiple distractions

May require working outdoors in varying and unpredictable weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind

Preferred

Prior experience in customer service and/or sales preferred
