Salesforce Senior Solution Architect - Quill
Quill is a leader in office supplies and a part of the Staples family of brands, seeking a Salesforce Senior Solution Architect. The role involves designing and executing scalable Salesforce solutions to meet B2B business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing integrations and custom applications on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional business teams, including engineers, product managers, and key vendor partners to create modern solutions that aligns with strategic goals and ensure value is delivered
Evaluate the sales process challenges and present multiple design options with pros & cons, ensure the solutions meets both functional and nonfunctional requirements and are within the set budgets
Lead the evaluation of User interface and interactions, new technology integrations, build POCs and help with decision making of choosing right products, partners and drive measurable value from IT investments
Proactively look for process inefficiencies, underlying problems and engage with partners to address and develop right solutions
Own and manage the architecture roadmap for both business and technology projects, ensure solution scoping and effort estimates are balanced
Manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
Leading the development and management of custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
Good understanding of Salesforce Einstein capabilities, Agent force and AI
Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, governance, and best practices
Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and risk assessments
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies, recommending adoption where appropriate
Mentor and coach junior architects and developers
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations
Expertise in both technical and solution architecture
Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect
Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration frameworks
Strong understanding of data architecture, security models, and governance frameworks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile delivery
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture
Preferred
Fluent in .NET, MVC, C#, N-Tier development, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), XML-based web services and REST approach with 3+ years of experience
Experience in MS SQL Server, DB architecture and design and SQL development with 3+ years of experience
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and use of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bit Bucket
