Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
Analyze monthly financial results, identifying trends and drivers across income statement and balance sheet accounts
Work cross-functionally with Operations and Program leaders to develop monthly outlooks and full-year financial projections
Build and maintain quarterly cash flow and capital spend projections
Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes by uploading and validating financial data in Tagetik
Create executive-ready materials for Operations reviews, including insights on variances and performance drivers
Monitor and report weekly performance metrics and operational KPIs
Record journal entries and complete account reconciliations in support of accurate financial reporting
Contribute to the month-end close process, ensuring timelines and data integrity are met
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate processes, and improve analytical efficiency
Assist with internal and external audit requests
Perform financial analysis and support special initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent required
5+ years of Accounting or Financial Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) experience in a Manufacturing environment
Possess a strong general accounting knowledge, including GAAP and related principles and practices
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, exercise sound business judgment, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Ability to structure and communicate complex, unstructured problems to a broad audience
Proven business partnering skills, including regular interaction with senior and executive leadership
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred
Public company and Aerospace & Defense Industry experience preferred
CPA and/or CMA certification is a plus
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Analytics Cloud is a plus
