Responsibilities
Lead End-to-End UX: Own the full user experience process for our core products-from ideation and research to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
Design & Prototype: Create information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment
User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand advisor, recordkeeper, and other personas’ needs, pain points behaviors and workflows
Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions
Communicate Design Decisions: Present research findings and design rationale to stakeholders at all levels, crafting compelling narratives that connect user needs to business value
Implementation Partnership: Work closely with engineering through detailed specifications and ongoing support to ensure design quality through production
Design Systems: Establish and maintain design patterns, UI components, and UX and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products
Complete other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in design or related field (Master's degree a plus)
5+ years of professional UX/UI design background with minimum 2 years working on digital experiences
Proven track record of effective collaboration with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to ship user-centered design solutions
Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools
Experience conducting moderated usability testing and translating research insights
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Comfortable navigating ambiguity
