Mid, Senior LevelZillion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate, secure, and scale cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on compliance, automation, and proactive security.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
Embed security controls and automated testing into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps)
Manage and harden cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) using Infrastructure as Code
Implement security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning)
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance gaps
Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate security issues early in the SDLC
Maintain secrets management, access controls, and identity policies
Support audits, compliance frameworks, and documentation (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO)
Improve system reliability, performance, and incident response processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
X+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Pulumi)
Proficiency with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and system security fundamentals
Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
Preferred
Active or previously held Public Trust clearance (strong plus)
Experience working in government or regulated environments
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CIS Benchmarks)
Security certifications (AWS Security, CISSP, CISM, Security+, etc.)
Experience with zero-trust architecture and policy-as-code
