Responsibilities

Serve as a technical contributor in pricing, reserving, data analytics, or predictive modeling initiatives

Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to provide actuarial insights and recommendations

Lead or support actuarial analyses using accepted actuarial methodologies

Communicate analytical results and recommendations clearly to management, regulators, and non-technical audiences

Identify and implement opportunities to enhance rating and reserving systems for improved efficiency and accuracy

Conduct rating and underwriting research, including competitor filing reviews and risk segmentation analysis

Collaborate with vendors and regulatory bodies to support timely filing approvals

Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members

Support reporting and ad hoc analytical requests as business needs arise

Be available to support business operations during catastrophic or emergency events when required
