Plaintiff-Side Labor & Employment Attorney
Responsibilities
Litigate employment cases in federal and state courts—from drafting complaints through trial preparation (not limited to arbitration demands, motions, mediation statements and calculations of damages)
Favorably resolve wage and hour cases
Prosecute class and collective actions involving labor law wage and contract disputes
Conduct and manage arbitrations, discovery, depositions, motions, and negotiations
Interview clients, evaluate claims, and build powerful narratives that drive results
Work closely with partners and colleagues to strategize and advance high-impact cases
Support clients with empathy, clarity, and professionalism throughout their case journey
Qualification
Required
J.D. and active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s)
7+ years' experience in labor & employment law—plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred
5+ years of experience in wage & hour cases, a plus
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
A client-centered approach and the ability to work with sensitivity and professionalism
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy litigation docket
Preferred
Experience drafting and handling wage & hour matters
Deposition and courtroom experience
Mediation or negotiation experience
Spanish or other language proficiency (a plus, not required)
