Composites One is seeking a highly skilled Global Network & Telecommunications Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of their global network and telecommunications infrastructure. This role will oversee networks across more than 50 locations in 6 countries and manage a team to ensure the IT organization delivers measurable value.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, and maintain data and telecommunications networks to meet business requirements

Monitor performance, resolve incidents, and ensure uptime SLAs are met

Maintain network configurations, services, and systems to comply with security policies and industry best practices

Manage network hardware, operating systems, and applications, including capacity planning

Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics for networks and telecom

Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to ensure secure and compliant networks

Lead a team of employees, contractors, and third-party service providers

Recruit, hire, and retain high-performing team members

Develop and mentor direct reports, providing challenging assignments and growth opportunities

Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure quality service delivery

Manage third-party service providers, ensuring contract compliance and performance metrics

Oversee telecom vendor contracts, budgets, forecasts, and invoicing

Assist in planning technical projects, including vendor selection and cost/benefit analyses

Identify and implement innovative technology solutions that improve business outcomes

Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes, competencies, and supplier performance

Develop a 3-year strategy and roadmap for network and telecom services

Promote a culture of continuous learning and development

Required

Minimum of 5–7 years of proven experience in network management, including strong expertise with network and security management tools

At least 5 years of experience with relevant IT technologies, with a focus on planning and managing enterprise-level data networks

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

In-depth working knowledge of network devices, scalability constraints, and network design

Working knowledge of scripting languages to monitor system performance in data center infrastructure/environments

Proven experience with industry-standard networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies

Expertise in network management, SD-WAN configuration, Next-Generation Firewall administration, UCaaS, security management, and wireless network services

Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, global environment
