Responsibilities
Lead the organization and completion of Quality trials working with Quality Engineers and Quality Techs
Drive the creation and maintenance of Quality Instruction documents
Support Quality Engineers in root cause analysis of materialized quality issues
Work closely with manufacturing, process, and suppliers to establish processes and procedures that will ensure consistently high quality
Maintain, update, and validate product and quality plans and control plans
Leads line to line root cause issues/solutions to increase and maintain quality metrics and performance
Develop and implement daily process/line specific audit plans for Quality Technicians. Compile and review results with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to both take direction and work independently
Experience with quality systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Proficiency at reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing line leadership and guidance
Ability to pull and manipulate data in SQL
Basic statistical knowledge (capability, t-tests, etc.)
Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering is preferred, or equivalent experience
Experienced in ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA preferred
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, TPS, TQM, etc. highly desired
