Responsibilities

This role is responsible for both direct sales and management of the distributor network
Work with distributors to sell parts, accessories, and electrostatic powder coating systems (booths, bays, and full system solutions) to existing and new customers
Support and quote capital projects, typically ranging from $1K–$500K, with occasional projects exceeding $1M
Manage a regional territory covering Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana
Support a global distributor network of approximately 19 distributors across more than 60 countries
Direct Sales:Drive sales of larger-scale capital equipment and automated projects through warm leads, repeat customers, and targeted prospecting supported by strong brand recognition
Attend trade shows and customer meetings as needed
Distributor Network:Support distributors with territory management and product focus
Participate in joint sales calls and on-site customer demonstrations
Assist with equipment specification, pricing, and quoting for distributor-led opportunities

Required

Experience selling capital equipment or working in a comparable market involving large CapEx projects
Proven background in capital expenditure
Bachelor's degree required; technical or engineering disciplines preferred, though other degrees will be considered
Demonstrated sales acumen with a proactive, hunter-oriented mindset and a strong focus on customer service
Willingness and ability to travel up to three days per week in a customer-facing role
Experience working with and through distributor networks, with a clear understanding of partner-based sales relationships
Ability to scope and specify customer projects, perform basic technical calculations (e.g., airflow rates), and understand equipment capabilities
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in capital project environments
