Director of Real Estate Marketing

The Bristal Assisted Living is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications professional to oversee marketing, public relations, business development, and digital communications for a diverse portfolio of real estate properties. This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing media relations, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications strategies that support leasing, sales, and brand awareness goals for the portfolio
Ensure brand consistency across all materials, platforms, and properties
Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral, brochures, signage, and digital assets
Serve as primary liaison for media relations and press inquiries
Draft and distribute press releases, statements, and media kits
Manage crisis communications and reputation management efforts
Build and maintain relationships with local and industry media contacts
Manage and regularly update the company and property websites, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and SEO optimization
Oversee all social media platforms and content calendars
Develop digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, and email communications
Plan, buy, and optimize digital media across paid search, paid social, display, and programmatic channels to drive qualified traffic and conversions
Analyze web and campaign analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance
Write and edit engaging content for web, print, and social media
Highlight property updates, resident or tenant stories, community engagement, and company initiatives
Partner with photographers, videographers, and designers to produce high-quality marketing materials
Develop and nurture relationships with local community organizations (chambers of commerce, libraries, active lifestyle centers, etc.)
Identify and cultivate new referral sources in healthcare, financial planning, and lifestyle services
Plan and execute promotional events tailored to active adults seeking vibrant community living
Manage sponsorship opportunities and community engagement initiatives
Partner with leasing, development, and operations teams to support property-specific marketing goals
Support executive leadership with internal communications and presentations
Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
7+ years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
Proven experience managing media relations and digital marketing campaigns
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
Familiarity with website CMS (WordPress or similar), SEO, Google Analytics, and social media platforms
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically and adapt quickly

Preferred

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, TopBuilder)
Understanding of local market trends and community engagement tactics
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
