Core Scientific is a leading provider of infrastructure for high-performance compute in North America. They are seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to support accounting, reporting, internal controls, and financial planning and analysis, while gaining exposure to various facets of the organization.

Responsibilities

Work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and see how Finance plays a strategic role in supporting a high-performing, public company

Support Finance functions across accounting, reporting, internal controls, and financial planning and analysis

Partner with Finance and Technology teams to identify potential AI use cases to drive efficiencies across the organization

Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at location of work assignment

Develop a diverse skillset through hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the business

Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/teammates and leaders across the organization

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Must be current student (rising junior or senior) graduating in 2026 or 2027, actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in the field of Business studies; a Business Technology focus preferred

Must be available for a minimum of 10+ weeks for the internship

Must be in office in Austin, TX

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Experience using AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to improve process efficiencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
