Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst - Dallas, TX or Miami, FL - Hybrid

Responsibilities
Prepares or reviews regulatory reports and research to resolve discrepancies or significant variances for regulatory reports submitted to various regulators (FRB, FDIC, OCC, FFIEC and others)
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports the regulatory reporting team is responsible for preparing and submitting to regulators
Collaborates with internal business lines on data enhancement, requirements and reconciliation
Participates in projects and process enhancements from end-to-end
Improves the effectiveness of the reporting team by analyzing adjustments and/or enhancements to current reporting processes
Open to or the ability to leverage AI to streamline and modernize workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field
3+ Years Relatable experience in accounting, financial reporting or auditing field
3+ Years Equivalent work experience
Demonstrated competence of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy
Ability to demonstrate holistic understanding of accounting and financial report
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Excel required
Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement through training
Preferred
Banking / other financial institution/industry experience
Practical analytical and accounting skills
MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access experience
CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
Experience in Microsoft Office products
