Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute physical rack installations, relocations, and decommissions within the data center
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all rack handling activities
Maintain accurate inventory records for servers, networking equipment, and related hardware
Perform regular audits and cycle counts to ensure data integrity in inventory management systems
Track inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation
Manage receiving, storage, and distribution of equipment and consumables within the data center warehouse
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently
Organize and optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and accessibility
Adhere to Microsoft’s security, safety, and compliance standards in all logistics operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks
Qualification
Required
Experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse operations
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) safely
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and basic data entry
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Experience in data center or IT hardware environments
Certification in material handling or forklift operation
Knowledge of Microsoft tools and systems for inventory and asset management
