PlanSource is a leading cloud-based provider of benefits administration technology and services. The COBRA & Consumer Health Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, service delivery, and ongoing support of COBRA and consumer-directed health benefit programs for clients.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of account specialists and implementation coordinators

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Oversee the successful onboarding and implementation of COBRA and consumer health accounts

Ensure timely and accurate setup of services, coordinating with internal teams and external partners

Monitor service delivery metrics and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Drive process improvements and standardization across COBRA and consumer health operations

Serve as a point of escalation for complex client issues

Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners

Partner with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure alignment and support for client needs

Lead initiatives such as audit cleanups and data integrity projects with precision and care

Performs other duties in support of department and organizational goals, as assigned

Required

5+ years of experience in benefits administration, preferably with COBRA and consumer-directed health accounts

2+ years of people management experience

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to COBRA and consumer health benefits

Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills

Experience working with third-party administrators and benefit platforms is a plus

Tracking performance goals for department personnel

Demonstrated ability in implementing strategy, driving performance, consistently producing superior results, cultivating ownership while enforcing company policies

A collaborative management style and a strong customer service orientation

Use of qualified data and metrics to support assumptions, concepts, and actions

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
