CNC OPERATOR
Wells is a company that empowers its team members to deliver exceptional client experiences in the design and construction industry. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a 3-axis CNC machine to mill custom forms, along with performing daily safety inspections and basic maintenance on the machine.

Responsibilities
Read production drawings/blueprints and operate CNC to create custom wooden forms with close tolerance to specifications
Must have clear knowledge of basic measurements and the ability to read a tape measure within a 16th of an inch
Must be able to use a variety of tools, including but not limited to, staple gun, brad nailer, hammer, measuring tape, pneumatic nail gun, pneumatic palm sander, and circular saws
Maintain good housekeeping and always follows Gate Precast safety policies and procedures
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to work as a team player
Perform additional duties as requested or required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
CNC experience required
Construction experience required

Must be able to use various hand tools or controls
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe laced up ankle work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, back brace, forearm shields, and safety vests
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally
Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently
Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently
Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements
Moderate to high risk of safety precautions
Moderate to high exposure to production environment
Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific)
Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific)
