Responsibilities
Conduct a comprehensive review of US cash equities operations, including:
Electronic trading workflows
Clearing and settlement processes
Booking/ticketing models
Reconciliations
Options clearing
Stock loan
Custodial network
Tax and corporate actions
Perform gap analysis and deliver actionable recommendations:
Identify system and resource limitations
Assess costs (including Broadridge and alternative vendors)
Benchmark against industry best practices and competitive standards
Define a strategic roadmap for future-state improvements, focusing on:
Cost reduction
Process optimization
Technology enablement
Operational efficiency
Scalability for volume growth
Optional scope (time permitting): Review central funding and global collateral management (Treasury function for Parent Bank and World Markets Inc)
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in US cash equities operations, with senior roles across multiple firms
Deep understanding of front-to-back processes, including clearing, settlement, reconciliations, and tax
Hands-on knowledge of Broadridge systems and familiarity with alternative vendor solutions
Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver competitive market insights
Proven track record in strategic assessments and roadmap development
