Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and SSRS reports
Ensure visualizations are intuitive, performant, and aligned with business goals
Apply business practices in data visualization to communicate complex data effectively
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions
Work with ETL/ELT tools to prepare and transform data for reporting
Collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines
Monitor and improve dashboard performance
Tune SQL queries and Tableau extracts for scalability
Partner with data operation engineer, analysts, and architects to design scalable data solutions
Provide guidance on BI best practices and data-driven decision-making
Contribute to documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing across the team
Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
7+ years in BI development, data analytics, or related roles
Advanced proficiency in Tableau (Desktop and Server)
Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, views, and functions
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Talend, Matillion, or similar)
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git)
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modeling
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Self-starter with curiosity and critical thinking mindset

Preferred

Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
