Responsibilities

Serve on the development leadership team to shape overall fundraising strategy, organizational growth, and department culture
Lead and mentor a team of six development professionals managing major giving portfolios in the U.S. and internationally
Represent Perkins as a senior ambassador to external partners, elevating the organization’s visibility and impact
Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across the institutional giving, development, and marketing teams
Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to significantly increase annual philanthropic revenue
Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects to grow revenue, influence, and visibility
Build and oversee a robust donor pipeline, strengthening processes for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
Implement systems, metrics, and reporting tools to track progress and guide decision-making
Lead strategic engagement with foundations and funding partners aligned with Perkins’ global mission
Collaborate with program, finance, and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and impact reports
Partner with senior leaders, board members, and program staff to align donor engagement with key funding priorities
Work with marketing and communications teams to enhance organizational visibility through storytelling and impact reporting
Serve as a key representative to major donors, trustees, and external partners

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including a strong record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts
Demonstrated experience leading major gift teams and driving performance

Preferred

Global or international fundraising experience is strongly preferred
