Responsibilities

Draft motions for summary judgment and motions to compel

Appear regularly in Landlord-Tenant court to argue motions and try cases

Qualification

Required

Experience handling NYC Landlord–Tenant court appearances and preparing predicate notices (rent demands, termination notices, notices to cure, nonpayment & holdover petitions)

Strong background drafting pleadings for breach of contract/lease/guaranty matters

Experience drafting lease modifications, surrender agreements, and related documents

Ability to provide day-to-day legal counsel to real estate operators across multiple asset classes

Ability to manage and respond to high-volume daily email communication
