Responsibilities
Lead SAP IS-U Billing workstreams across project phases (Blueprint, Build, Test, Deploy, Support)
Act as the primary functional expert for IS-U Billing and Invoicing (BI-IN)
Provide guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance for functional consultants
Own billing-related design decisions and ensure end-to-end process integrity
Gather and analyze business requirements related to utility billing
Design and document billing processes including: Rate structures and schemas, Billing classes and billing factors, Billing master data, Billing cycles and schedules
Translate business requirements into SAP IS-U functional specifications
Configure SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing components
Support rate modeling, billing schema setup, and validation rules
Ensure integration with: Device Management (DM), Customer Information System (CIS), FI-CA and FI, CRM / SAP CX (if applicable)
Support enhancements, user exits, and custom developments in collaboration with technical teams
Lead functional testing activities: Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Develop test scenarios, scripts, and expected results
Support data migration validation and cutover planning
Ensure billing accuracy and regulatory compliance before go-live
Act as the key liaison between business users, project managers, and technical teams
Present solutions, impacts, and recommendations to stakeholders
Support change management and end-user training efforts
Provide hyper care and production support for billing issues
Analyze and resolve billing defects and production incidents
Support continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory changes
