Responsibilities

Develop, design, code, test, integrate, tune, and deliver Power Systems Application software
Work with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs on functional software specifications
Customize and deliver Network or Transmission Applications, preferably GE Reliance (XA21)
Perform data modelling and system configuration for EMS/SCADA environments
Install OS patches and third-party software (Oracle, NetApp, etc.)
Pick up and deploy fixes on live customer systems
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real-time / mission-critical systems
Read, interpret, and debug system logs and diagnostic files
Maintain source control using GitHub and ClearCase
Ensure successful delivery aligned with project timelines and quality standards

Required

Proficiency in Electric Transmission EMS / SCADA implementation
Hands-on experience implementing GE Reliance (XA21) EMS/SCADA or equivalent (Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Electric SCADA applications / Power DMS / TMS
Experience in data modeling
5+ years of experience customizing and delivering Network or Transmission Applications (Reliance preferred)
5+ years experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
5+ years experience with C, Java, and Oracle Database
Strong skills in SQL, Shell Scripting, and log/debug file analysis
Experience installing fixes and supporting live production systems
5+ years experience working on real-time or mission-critical systems
Strong problem analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
Experience with Reliance Grid Applications domain

Preferred

Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, Oracle, and/or system administration (plus)
Exposure to Test Management and Automated Testing
