Responsibilities

Assist with ground and flight test planning. Participate in conduct of ground and flight test
Participate in various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance
Support definition and performance of certification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components
Contribute to definition of requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems and vehicle fuel and tank systems
Coordination and control of the functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle
Support development of specifications and architectural and configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements
Assist with design of propulsion sub-systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance criteria
Support fielded systems to assure continued reliability and airworthiness
Assist with development of concepts for future propulsion systems to meet anticipated requirements

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Preferred

Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Flight or ground test experience
Experience with jet engines and/or air breathing propulsion operation fundamentals
Propulsion analysis, integration design, system installation and support experience
Component and hardware integration
Vendor management experience
Qualification and Certification experience
