SoTalent is seeking a high-energy sales professional to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across public sector and commercial markets. This role involves developing and executing a territory strategy to expand market presence and exceed sales targets in the Los Angeles and greater Southern California region.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow revenue and acquire new customers within an assigned Southern California territory
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities through inbound and outbound leads
Conduct in-person meetings with prospective customers to present solutions and value propositions
Build engaging sales presentations using available marketing resources
Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and local events to generate new business
Design and deliver tailored pricing strategies for high-potential commercial accounts
Utilize cooperative purchasing programs, education contracts, and bid opportunities to win and expand education customers
Collaborate closely with internal sales partners to route and transition qualified opportunities smoothly
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting within CRM tools
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly performance goals
Strengthen customer relationships by positioning as a trusted advisor and consolidating spend across vendors
Partner with leadership and peers to uncover opportunities beyond traditional office supply solutions
Contribute positively to team culture through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and leadership by example

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including at least 6 months working with public sector customers
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Highly motivated, competitive, and driven by measurable results
Comfortable adapting in a fast-changing sales environment
Confident presenter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Resilient, persistent, and motivated by overcoming objections
Customer-focused mindset with a consultative sales approach
Values collaboration, continuous improvement, and a positive workplace culture
Able to think on their feet and remain composed in high-pressure situations

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
Demonstrated success in business development or new customer acquisition
