Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

Manage payroll processing using ADP

Supervise a small team, including training and workflow management for accounts payable staff

Support the audit process, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors

Assist with grant accounting and reporting for government-funded programs, including DYCD contracts, state, city, and some federal funders

Facilitate migration from Great Plains (GP) to Financial Edge Blackbaud; prior GP experience preferred

Ensure compliance with internal controls and organizational policies

Prepare reports and financial statements for management and board review

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
